Most people don't pay much attention to their dreams. They just brush them off and move on. But our dreams can be used as a tool to help your life. Here's how to use your dreams to your benefit.
The first step is to set intentions. As with anything in life being clear on your intentions is very helpful. Your spirit guides work for you and can only do what you want them to. So be clear with what you want so they can help you.
Be clear with your spirit guides that you want to pay attention to your dreams and use them as a tool. Having a dream journal is very useful. Keep a notebook by your bed to record everything you remember. As you do this consistently you will start to remember more and more.
If you usually don't remember your dreams, setting an intention to remember them before bed will help. Ask that they be helpful to you and guide you.
Every so often, look back through your dream journal to see any patterns or perhaps things that you dreamed about that have happened. A lot of people have psychic dreams but aren't aware of it. Look at what stands out to you from your entities in your dream journal.
Notice things in your dreams that came from something you saw on tv or things you were thinking about. Those may not need further looking into unless you think you need to do some more thinking about them.
If there were some worries coming up that came through in a dream, really look into them and process them. Is there a way you can take control of it better so you don't have to worry? If you feel there is nothing you can do, just release it and know that it's out of your hands and let that worry go. There's nothing you can do just trust it will work out. Ask your guides to help with the matter and move forward.
Working through any issues you have during the day is important. If you have things you are suppressing or not dealing with, most of your dreams will be bogged down with those issues as a way of trying to release them.
You can look at what's happening in those dreams to try to interpret what issues you are avoiding and need to work on so you can move forward. Take time to fully feel and process anything you are going through. Just fully feeling them and not suppressing them takes away their power and helps you to release it.
Our subconscious works things out sometimes in strange ways through our sleep but there is a method to the madness.
Notice do you have a lot of nightmares? That can show a lot of subconscious feelings coming up. The more you can deal with those things while you are awake, the less that will happen.
Sometimes medications can affect dreams as well and that may be a little more difficult to assess the meaning.
After you have gotten used to writing down your dreams and figuring them out, then you can go to an even deeper step. Before you go to bed set an intention and tell your guides that you would like your dreams to help you figure out a specific problem you are having and note that in your dream journal. Then any dreams that night look at through the lens of that specific problem for some answers.
It can be tricky but overtime you will start to see the meanings and it will get easier and easier. It just takes practice.
Dreams are also a common place where crossed over loved ones come to visit you. These dreams will feel so real like you were right there with them because you were. Dreams can be an easier way for your crossed over loved ones to contact you but you must be well rested and get good consistent sleep for them to be able to.
When you aren't sleeping right that is always a warning sign that something needs to change in your life. So really explore your life and see what changes need to be made. A lot of times if you aren't getting enough sleep, then your body never gets to the dream level or if you do you don't remember them.
Take time to meditate on your specific dreams and listen to your intuition for the meanings. Over time you will start to see patterns and how your subconscious interprets things. Everyone's dreams form in a different way but over time you will start to see how your dreams work and that will help you to figure out the meanings.
Looking at just one dream can be confusing if you aren't used to it but it's the patterns over time that help you to interpret. Stick with the dream journal and keep working on it and before you know it you will be using your dreams to help understand yourself more and to live your best life. They are a tool, use them!
